Visual Comm/Digital Media Designer
- Job Purpose
We are a team of in-house designers working at NHG College. Supporting the Digital Media Manager (NHG College), the Visual Communication/ Digital Media Designer is responsible for conceptualizing and creating compelling, interactive, and highly engaging user-focused digital-media content for digital and print platforms. To be considered for an interview, submitting a comprehensive design portfolio (web based) is a must in order to apply for this position.
2. Core Areas of Responsibilities
- Support new projects which cover concept, design, prototype & follow-through production cycle towards end delivery.
- Create healthcare related digital contents such as Powerpoint Slides, infographics, branded collaterals, eDMs, video/2D motion graphics, and publicity/marketing ads as required.
- Play an assistant role in video production, covering all aspects of logistics, assets management & staging setup.
- Design, and create high-quality technology-enhanced learning (TEL) solutions tailored for adult learners, including formats like online learning, micro-learning/mobile learning, and blended learning.
- Demonstrate competent creative skills & ability to solve design problems.
- Support the video production team to develop graphics for motion design adaptation.
- Highly versatile in using digital technology tools and AI applications to produce learning materials.
- Basic Instagramable photography skillset is a plus.
Design Management & Administration
- Involve in administrative work management that covers media project & scheduling.
- Communicate with project crew & follow up closely on the design deliverables.
3. JOB REQUIREMENTS
(a) Education/Training/Experience
- Minimum Diploma in Visual Communication, Digital-Media or equivalent (Fresh graduates may apply)
- Competent in using Adobe Graphic creative tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- The ability to use Canva, Generative AI Tech Tools, Synthesia AI, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects and Photography skillset will be advantageous
- Good design/project management skills with a strong ability to multi-task in a cross-functional environment
- Relevant past experience in supporting online training or working in an education school environment will be advantageous
- Good communication practice and interpersonal skills
- Good design presentation skills, with an eye for detail in visual composition & design principles
