Key responsibilities
- Assist Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and/or Speech Therapists in supervising patients and implementing therapy interventions.
- Apply prescribed therapeutic modalities for routine patients and perform simple assessments under therapist oversight.
- Conduct group therapy sessions for low-complexity patients.
- Support training and development of junior Therapy Assistant and students through orientations, supervision assistance, and delivery of selected training modules.
- Manage operational and administrative tasks, including:
- Reporting daily manpower needs and scheduling
- Assisting in duty roster planning
- Housekeeping and equipment maintenance
- Ensuring inventory standards
Requirements
- Education: Diploma or relevant certification in therapy assistance or healthcare support.
- Experience: Prior experience in therapy or rehabilitation settings preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and follow instructions under supervision.
- Organized and detail-oriented with a proactive approach to tasks.
