Position: Part-time HOPES Booth Ambassador (3-months contract)

Job Description:
HOPES is a clinically grounded digital mental health service to support recovery monitoring. The role of the HOPES Booth Ambassador is to raise awareness of HOPES and IMH Peer Support services to encourage self-empowerment for persons in recovery from mental health challenges.
Job Responsibilities:
- Welcome visitors and proactively engage them in conversation about HOPES and mental health recovery
- Support visitors to scan the QR code, download the HOPES app, and complete registration
- Provide basic guidance on app installation and onboarding for interested visitors
- Demonstrate key features of the HOPES app (live demo)
- Distribute and explain informational materials on HOPES and Peer Support Specialists
- Provide basic concierge support and direct visitors to clinic counters/services when needed
- Record simple engagement metrics (e.g., number of interactions, sign-ups) and capture common questions/feedback
- Maintain clear role boundaries: do not provide clinical advice, diagnosis, or crisis counselling; escalate to supervisor/clinic staff when appropriate
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Requirements:
Competency
- Friendly, positive disposition; enjoys interacting with patients and staff
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Able to work independently; organised and able to manage multiple tasks
- Able to communicate in English and at least one local language/dialect
- Experience supporting persons with mental health conditions, or strong interest in recovery-oriented care, is an advantage.
Educational and Professional Requirements
- O-Level / N-Level / Diploma holders in any field (training provided)
- Prior customer-facing experience (e.g., healthcare, retail, hospitality, community outreach) is an advantage
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office / Smartphone / iOS/Android ; comfortable using mobile apps
