Sr / Speech Therapist

We are seeking dedicated Speech Therapist  to join our expanding team across the NHG Health institutions:

• Tan Tock Seng Hopsital (TTSH)
• Khoo Teck Puat Hospital/Yishun Community Hospital (KTPH/YCH)
• Woodlands Hopsital (WH)

The main role includes managing patients with communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders to optimize and achieve maximal functional outcomes.

 Key Roles & Responsibilities

•  Assess patient’s swallowing and communication function, including the evaluation of the functional communication ability, encompassing both speech and language.
•  Provide holistic treatment and management plans following assessment.
•  Educate family members and caregivers on interventions and care giving skills.
•  Contribute towards continuous quality improvement in the department and provide guidance to trainees and students.

Job Requirements

•  Recognised bachelor’s degree in Speech Therapy
•  Registered or eligible for Allied Health Profession Certification (AHPC)
•  Effective communication and interpersonal skills
•  Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment
•  Commitment to provide compassionate and patient-centred care
•  Senior position will be considered for applicants with relevant experience
