Sr Pharmacy Asst

Job description:

• Assist in the processing of prescriptions which includes picking and verification of medication according to set standards and guideline.
• Assist with data entry, picking and packing of medication parcel for medication delivery services
• Maintain inventory control of medications at dispensing area and automated dispensing systems through replenishment, returns, and ensuring proper storage of medications.
• Assist with drug inventory matters such as stock replenishment and conducting of inventory checks via cycle count and stock take.
• Address simple patient inquiries regarding medication retail items, product details, pharmacy services, and patient workflow.
• Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of work areas and prepare these for daily operations
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE A/O level
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
• Prior experience in a retail, hospital, or clinical pharmacy setting is an advantage
