Job Description:

We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Senior Manager / Manager to expand our donor network and secure vital financial support. You will support the strategic development and operational responsibilities of WHCF by overseeing fundraising operations, strategic corporate engagements, and the planning and development of our signature grant programmes. This role will require you to identify, cultivate, and steward major gift prospects, institutional donors, and corporate partners.  The role requires strong leadership, external partnership and engagement skills, grant writing and project management capabilities to coordinate cross-functional initiatives, ensure timely implementation of projects, and strengthen corporate engagements, operational processes, and stakeholder engagement.

Job Responsibilities:

1.      Corporate Engagement

• Donor Cultivation: Identify and engage high-net-worth individuals, family foundations, and corporate sponsors.
• Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term partnerships to turn one-time gifts into recurring philanthropic support.
• Proposal Writing: Craft compelling grant applications, major gift proposals, and impact reports tailored to specific donors.
• Campaign Strategy: Plan and execute targeted fundraising campaigns and intimate donor-engagement events.
• Data Tracking: Maintain accurate records of donor interactions, gift pipelines, and campaign metrics using CRM software.

2. Grant Programmes Management

• Support the planning, development, and implementation of WHCF’s signature grant programme, Beyond Production and other relevant grant programmes.
• Conduct research, feasibility studies, benchmarking, and business planning to support the development and growth of the programme.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including partners, vendors, consultants, and regulatory agencies, to ensure successful implementation.
• Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, risk registers, and progress reports for management review.
• Monitor project milestones and ensure deliverables are achieved within agreed timelines and resources.

3. Fundraising Operations, Project Management, and Strategic Initiatives

• Oversee and manage fundraising operations, including finance and governance-related work, and organise fundraising events.
• Manage and coordinate WHCF projects relating to programme reviews, process improvements, and policy development.
• Review and streamline operational processes and standard operating procedures to enhance productivity and outcomes for the team.
• Facilitate change management initiatives and support the implementation of new systems and processes.
• Prepare management reports, presentations, briefing papers, and updates to SMM and WHCF Board.

4. General stakeholder and Partnership Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with IMH departments, MOH, AIC, grant recipients, volunteers, donors, community partners, and external agencies.
• Coordinate meetings, workshops, and engagement sessions with stakeholders.
• Serve as the key liaison for project-related matters and ensure effective communication among stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Experienced in report writing, presentation preparation, and data analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Educational and Professional Requirements

• Good degree in any discipline, with healthcare background as an advantage.
• Outstanding results in General Paper at A Levels or relevant writing-related modules at University.
• Professional certification or qualifications in philanthropy and/or fundraising preferred.
• At least 3 years’ experience in the philanthropy sector or Social Service Agency overseeing fundraising and/or partnerships.
