Why This Role Matters
Managing clinical feedback and medico‑legal matters is critical to upholding patient trust, safety, and service quality. This role plays an important part in ensuring that clinical complaints and medico‑legal feedback are assessed, investigated, and resolved fairly, effectively, and within established timelines.
As part of the Quality, Risk & Safety Office, you will support clinical governance and organisational learning by identifying trends, strengthening risk management practices, and contributing to continuous improvement. This role is suited for professionals who are analytical, calm under pressure, and skilled in managing complex stakeholder issues in a healthcare environment.
What You Will Drive
1. Clinical Feedback & Medico‑Legal Case Management
- Manage the end‑to‑end process of clinical and medico‑legal feedback, including initial assessment, investigations, coordination of resolution efforts, and preparation of official responses.
- Liaise with clinical teams, departments, and external parties as required to support thorough and timely case resolution.
- Ensure all feedback cases are acknowledged, tracked, and resolved within established timeframes.
2. Risk Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all cases in the designated case tracker.
- Prepare reports and analyses on feedback trends, outcomes, and recommendations for senior management and relevant committees.
- Support the implementation of clinical risk management plans and initiatives within the hospital.
3. Capability Building & Governance Support
- Support capability‑building initiatives, programmes, and events related to conflict management, medico‑legal matters, and clinical risk management.
- Provide administrative, executive, and secretariat support to relevant committees, including coordination of meetings and documentation.
4. Other Responsibilities
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer in support of departmental and organisational objectives.
What You Bring
Education & Experience
- Good degree from a recognised university.
- Preferably at least 2 years of relevant experience in medico‑legal case management, clinical complaints handling, or risk management.
- Experience in healthcare or a related industry is preferred.
- Fresh graduates with a positive mindset and strong aptitude for learning are welcome to apply.
