Sr Executive
About This Role
In this role, you will execute risk management plans for medico-legal cases and clinical complaints to ensure effective resolution for the organisation, while also supporting the implementation of clinical risk management plans in the hospital. This is a meaningful opportunity to contribute to patient safety and clinical governance at one of Singapore's most forward-thinking healthcare institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage medico-legal cases and clinical complaints in an effective manner and ensure amicable resolution for the organisation.
- Manage the claims process and coordinate the renewal and administration of medical malpractice coverage for the organisation.
- Work with risk and process owners across departments to ensure medico-legal and clinical risks are prioritised, mitigated, monitored, managed, and escalated in a timely manner.
- Execute and support the implementation of clinical risk management plans and framework for the organisation.
- Execute and support capability building efforts (e.g. training) in the areas of conflict resolution, clinical risk management, and patient safety.
- Provide secretariat support for steering committees or Quality Assurance Committees.
- Participate in assigned projects or events.
Required Qualifications
- Good degree from a recognised university.
- Good planning and organisational skills, with a strong ability to analyse and process data or information; strong interpersonal and communication skills; meticulous, proactive, and independent; a good team player; and proficient in MS Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in the management of medico-legal and clinical complaints, or risk management.
- Working experience in healthcare or a similar industry.
