Job Overview
You will play an important role in supporting the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef to ensure the smooth daily operation of our production kitchen. The kitchen is responsible for preparing high-quality, nutritious meals for patients, where consistency, hygiene, and teamwork are key.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in the daily preparation and production of patient meals
- Support food preparation, ingredient setup, plating, and dishing according to established standards
- Ensure meals meet quality, presentation, and dietary requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the kitchen
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Requirements
- Possession of a valid Food & Hygiene Certificate
- Comfortable working in a structured, fast-paced kitchen environment
- Able to work staggered shifts between 5:00am and 7:00pm, 5 days per week (42 hours)
- Willing to work on weekends and public holidays
