Job Description:

The Senior/Assistant Manager (Innovation) supports the planning, coordination, and governance of innovation initiatives at IMH. The role focuses on enabling structured innovation delivery across clinical, operational, and corporate domains by providing programme management, secretariat support, stakeholder coordination, and monitoring of innovation activities, in alignment with IMH, NHG, and MOH innovation priorities.

 

Job Responsibilities:

1. Innovation Programme Coordination

  • Support the IMH Innovation Office to deliver the end‑to‑end design and delivery of innovation initiatives, from problem identification to implementation and scaling.
  • Track progress, milestones, dependencies, and risks across innovation projects and portfolios.
  • Work closely with clinicians, quality teams, operations, and corporate departments to identify high‑impact opportunities across clinical, operational, and corporate domains for transformation.
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly to non‑technical stakeholders, including senior management and governance committees.

 

2. Innovation Governance

  • Provide secretariat and coordination support for Innovation & Digitalisation Steering Committee, including meeting preparation, documentation, and follow-up of action items.
  • Consolidate proposals, papers, and updates for management and committee review.
  • Maintain proper documentation and version control for innovation governance records.

 

3. Innovation Culture, Digital Literacy & Capability Building

  • Facilitate the development of a vibrant innovation culture and digital literacy in the hospital by supporting the upskilling of staff and conducting regular training workshops
  • Act as a coordination point for engagements with NHG, CHI, and external partners on innovation, workforce transformation, and capability-building initiatives.
  • Support organisation of workshops, engagements, and innovation-related meetings involving internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leverage on NHG/CHI platforms and work with internal stakeholders to facilitate digital upskilling programmes, workshops, and communities of practice.
  • Support development and dissemination of innovation and digital enablement materials, playbooks, and learning resources aligned with IMH’s innovation strategy

 

Requirements:

Competency

  • High proficiency in digital and data literacy
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

 

Educational and Professional Requirements

  • Degree in Healthcare, Science, Engineering and Business
  • Prior experience in a hospital environment will be an added advantage
