Sr Asst Manager, Innovation and Research Implementation Support (IRIS)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated individual with a strong interest in healthcare transformation, research, and implementation to join the Clinical Research & Innovation Office (CRIO). This role supports the Innovation and Research Implementation Support (IRIS) unit and focuses on translating research and innovation into clinical practice, while overseeing research fellows to enhance translational impact across the institution.
Key Responsibilities:
Innovation & Research Implementation Support (IRIS) – 80%
- Co-develop structured implementation strategies with clinical teams to support meaningful and measurable adoption.
- Support project scoping and resource planning by aligning initiatives with appropriate grant opportunities and coordinating grant readiness activities.
- Guide teams through institutional processes, stakeholder engagement, and approval pathways.
- Consolidate and track evidence of implementation impact, including outcomes, metrics, and cost-effectiveness.
- Support the IRIS Community of Practice through knowledge-sharing activities and learning exchanges.
Translation of Research and Innovation into Clinical Services
- Collaborate with clinical operations teams to integrate research and innovation outputs into routine workflows.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and support process improvements at the point of care.
- Facilitate communication between research teams and clinical units to support sustainability and scalability.
Research Fellow Oversight and Development
- Support research fellows in project planning, protocol development, and operational troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with institutional research governance, ethics, and IRB requirements.
- Guide fellows in translating research outputs into actionable insights aligned with institutional priorities.
General Responsibilities – 20%
- Support CRIO-led initiatives, including research education, innovation showcases, and academic events.
- Participate in relevant committees or working groups to champion research implementation.
- Document and communicate implementation outcomes, success stories, and learning points.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support CRIO’s strategic objectives.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Public Health, Health Services Research, or a related healthcare discipline
- At least 5–6 years of relevant experience in clinical research, research implementation, or healthcare operations.
- Experience in clinical research, healthcare project implementation, innovation enablement, clinical operations, workflow integration, or healthcare process improvement is highly desirable.
