Job Description:

Supports the Corporate Development function by ensuring effective coordination, administration and operational delivery of departmental activities.

 

Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, provides corporate, governance and operational support for management and board-related processes, organisational events, stakeholder engagements and departmental operations. The role requires strong organisational, communication and coordination skills to support the smooth and efficient functioning of the department.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Corporate Governance and Secretariat Support

  1. Coordinate and support governance processes, including management meetings, board-related meetings and other organisational platforms.

 

  1. Assist in the preparation, consolidation and tracking of meeting materials, action items, submissions and follow-up matters.

 

  1. Maintain records, documentation and reference materials to support organisational reporting and governance requirements.

 

  1. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth coordination and timely completion of deliverables.

 

Organisational Events and Stakeholder Engagement

  1. Support the planning, coordination and execution of corporate events, leadership platforms, learning visits and stakeholder engagements.

 

  1. Coordinate logistics, communications and administrative arrangements for organisational activities.

 

  1. Support engagement with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, healthcare institutions and partner organisations.

 

Department Operations and Administration

  1. Manage day-to-day departmental operations, including procurement, budget tracking, payment processing, asset management and administrative matters.

 

  1. Support the preparation of presentations, reports, correspondence and departmental communications.

 

  1. Coordinate departmental workplans, schedules and timelines, and monitor the status of key deliverables and follow-up actions.

 

  1. Support knowledge management and information management activities within the department.

 

 

Requirements:

Competency

  1. Strong organisational and coordination skills, with attention to detail.
  2. Good written and verbal communication skills.
  3. Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders effectively.
  4. Demonstrated initiative, adaptability and service orientation.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Word

 

Educational and Professional Requirements

  1. Diploma from a recognised polytechnic or equivalent qualification.
  2. Preferably 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in corporate administration, secretariat support, project coordination, governance support or related functions.
  3. Experience supporting senior management, organisational events or committee-related work would be advantageous
