Senior Staff Nurse I

NHG Polyclinics is the primary healthcare arm of NHG Health, serving 1.5 million residents across Central and North Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care, and conduct patient screening and health education
• Assist patients in navigating care systems based on their needs, resources and preferences
• Assist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing services and health education programmes, including developing health education materials
• Lead fellow nurses and oversee nursing stations as assigned
• Conduct on-the-job training for new nursing staff and nursing students
• Conduct training sessions and impart knowledge and skills to fellow colleagues
• Assist in conducting clinical performance evaluations of nurses
• Conduct regular small group meetings to identify operational issues and drive process improvements
• Prioritise and apply critical decision-making skills in resource utilisation and deployment
• Lead or co-lead committees and workgroups as delegated

Requirements

• Diploma in Nursing; Advanced Diploma, Specialist Diploma or Post Basic qualification in a relevant nursing specialty preferred; Bachelor's degree in nursing will be an advantage
• At least 3 years of clinical nursing experience; polyclinic experience preferred
• Valid Enrolled Nurse licence with Singapore Nursing Board
• Strong supervisory, interpersonal and communication skills
• Proactive leader with a willingness to impart knowledge and mentor others
