Senior Project Manager / Assistant Director

Institution:  National Healthcare Group
Family Group:  Administration

About Us

We are a dedicated healthcare provider committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Our team of professionals works collaboratively to ensure operational excellence and compassionate service. As part of NHG’s commitment to digital transformation and operational excellence in HR, we are seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior Project Manager / Associate Director to lead strategic initiatives within Group HRIS.

Job Summary

The HRIS Senior Project Manager / Associate Director leads the end-to-end project management of all cluster-wide HRIS initiatives across NHG’s institutions, from planning through go-live and handover to operations. This covers system enhancements, upgrades integrations and digital transformation projects across the HRIS landscape (SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors). You will also partner Group HRIS & HRSS to anchor two flagship programmes, Case Management and Agentic AI, and own the SuccessFactors data quality agenda that underpins both. You will work with the Group HRIS leadership, HR operations, the CIO Office, institutions and vendors to keep delivery, priorities and dependencies aligned across the cluster, and report progress to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Programme Delivery & Governance

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of all cluster-wide HRIS projects, managing scope, schedule, budget and quality across institutions, from business case through hypercare and handover to BAU.
  • Maintain a single cluster-level project pipeline: prioritise initiatives and manage dependencies, release calendars and resource plans across institutions.
  • Run delivery governance, including steering committees, stage gates, risk and issue logs, and budget and benefits tracking, with clear escalation paths.
  • Oversee testing (UAT and regression), data migration and cutover readiness for system changes across SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors.
  • Manage vendor and system-integrator performance, including statements of work, milestones and commercial discipline.

Case Management & Agentic AI

  • Lead the rollout of Case Management and Agentic AI solutions from pilot to scaled adoption, with defined success measures (for example, case turnaround time, user satisfaction and adoption).
  • Work with the CIO Office, Data/AI and Security teams to embed responsible-AI practices: guardrails, human-in-the-loop controls, PDPA compliance and auditability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure both solutions are adopted and embedded in HR operations.

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management

  • Facilitate effective collaboration with internal stakeholders, vendors, and Public Healthcare Institutions (PHIs) to ensure smooth integration of new systems.
  • Build alignment across institutions, HR operations and IT, leading through influence rather than authority.
  • Champion change management (stakeholder mapping, communications, training and super-user networks) to drive user adoption and maximise the value of HRIS solutions, measuring adoption and not just go-live.
  • Provide regular, decision-ready updates to senior leadership on project status, risks, trade-offs and outcomes.

Data Governance & Quality

  • Oversee the data cleanup initiative across all PHIs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of employee records in SuccessFactors, addressing root causes rather than one-off corrections.
  • Establish and enforce data governance standards, including data ownership and stewardship by data domain, to support compliance and readiness for analytics and AI deployment.
  • Monitor and report on data quality KPIs (for example error rates, completeness and time-to-correct) and sustain quality improvements beyond the cleanup.

Team & Capability

  • Support and coach project teams across Group HRIS, and share best practices to strengthen Group HRIS project management capability.

Qualifications & Experience

·       Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.

·       Minimum 10 years of experience in IT or HR technology project/programme management, including at least 5 years delivering HRIS/HCM projects.

·       Proven track record in managing large-scale, multi-entity HR technology implementations.

·       Strong understanding of HR operations, data governance, and data migration and quality.

·       Practical understanding of AI and automation use cases, risks and controls.

·       Strong stakeholder management, with the ability to influence senior leaders and navigate competing priorities.

·       Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

·       Experience with SAP S/4HANA HCM and SAP SuccessFactors.

·       PMP or equivalent project management certification; experience in Agile or hybrid delivery.

·       Experience in healthcare, public sector or multi-institution environments.

Why Join Us

·       Shape NHG’s HR digital and AI direction through flagship programmes.

·       Work directly with Group HR leadership and the CIO Office, with impact on 25,000+ employees across 7 institutions.
