This role supports the strategic development of clinician scientists in NHG Health, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and guidance to advance their research careers and contribute to healthcare innovation. The primary objectives are to manage comprehensive clinician scientist development programmes, provide dedicated account management for national award recipients to maximise their success and impact, and facilitate seamless grant application processes through expert review platforms. The role serves as a critical bridge between research strategy and operational execution, supporting NHG Health's mission to cultivate world-class clinician scientists who can translate research discoveries into improved patient outcomes.

Roles & responsibilities include:

  1. Lead the management of NHG Health intramural Clinician Scientist (CS) Development Programmes, including programme quality improvement, pre- and post-award administration to support clinicians onboard the programmme and management reporting
  2. Curate and maintain online content on the NHG Health Website and Researcher Directory, showcasing their achievements, and professional profiles to enhance visibility and recognition of clinician scientists and innovators 
  3. Function as secretariat for joint strategic committees such as the NHG-LKCMedicine Clinician Scientist Development Committee (CSDC)
  4. Support planning and coordination for talent trajectory development for CSCS and NMRC TA/CSA/HCSA awardees
  5. Support CSDO / Academy of Clinician Scientists & Innovators (ACSI)-led initiatives such as mentorship matching, CS and CI profile showcases and publicity efforts.
  6. Partake in intra- and inter-departmental projects as and when required
