Senior Executive, Innovation & Improvement Office
The Innovation & Improvement (I&I) Office plays a strategic role in positioning Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and Yishun Community Hospital (KTPH & YCH) for future success by driving organisation wide transformation and innovation. In addition to strengthening operational excellence and quality improvement, I&I leads place based and community centred initiatives, which reimagines hospital environments as active wellness destinations that promote health creation, social connectivity, and community engagement. Through these efforts, I&I supports the hospital’s ability to achieve its strategic objectives efficiently and sustainably.
- Leveraging Data and Insights: Using data-driven approaches to support decision-making, assess performance gaps and guide improvement efforts.
- Facilitating Innovation: Encouraging and implementing new ideas that enhance operational efficiency, patient care and organisational effectiveness.
- Building Capabilities: Strengthening the hospital’s ability to continuously improve through training, coaching and structured methodologies.
The Senior Executive plays a pivotal support role in advancing healthcare delivery by integrating health creation with social connectivity for the benefit of the public, patients, and staff. This role drives the design and activation of initiatives that embed health-promoting practices into everyday experiences through well-designed environments, an engaging culture, and meaning community partnerships. You will support the planning, coordination, and implementation of initiatives that elevate the Campus Experience, establishing integrated wellness destinations that align healthcare with community engagement.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(A) SPECIFIC
Programme Planning & Coordination
- Plan and coordinate activities ensuring seamless and timely execution of initiatives under One Campus Experience
- Develop detailed event schedules, logistics plans, and operational procedures that transform hospital spaces into engaging community wellness environments.
- Collaborate with clinical staff, corporate communication team, facilities team, human resource team and community partners to ensure programming integrates effectively with hospital operations and patient care.
Community Engagement & Communications
- Execute communication strategies across multiple channels including social media, newsletters, and community outreach to promote programs that elevate the campus experience.
- Coordinate with cultural partners, schools and community organisations to deliver programming that serves patients, staff and community members.
- Manage vendor relationships and event logistics for community events, health fairs, cultural celebrations and wellness activities etc.
Implementation & Quality Assurance
- Implement programming that turns health advice into everyday lived experiences through thoughtfully designed activities and community interactions.
- Monitor program delivery quality and participant feedback, making operational improvements to enhance the experience for all stakeholders.
- Maintain detailed records of program activities, attendance, and outcomes to support continuous improvement and reporting requirements.
(B) GENERAL
- Align the department's goals with the business goals of the hospital.
- Provide secretariat and administrative support to the department and hospital.
- Support all corporate activities and events management. JOB REQUIREMENTS
(A) EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

- Minimally hold a recognised Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate communications and events planning, preferably with community engagement components.
- Proven track record of managing programs that integrate multiple stakeholder groups and create shared value.
- Experience in healthcare, wellness, community development, or social innovation sectors preferred.
- Comfortable with uncertainty in work assignments.
- Advanced proficiency in project management and communication tools.
- Excellent written skills and possess good interpersonal skills.
