B. JOB PURPOSE (ROLE and DEPARTMENT SUMMARY)
The Senior Assistant Manager, NHG Health Centre, supports the strategic and financial planning, project management and centre operations of NHG Health Centre, which provides preventive health services aligned with national strategies such as Healthier SG. The role supports the Assistant Director in developing department and division strategies, preparing financial plans, managing daily centre operations, facilitating discussions and coordinating resources and stakeholders. The role also oversees implementation against approved milestones, budgets and timelines, in compliance with directions from NHG leadership.
C. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Assistant Director in the strategic and financial planning, project management and centre operations of NHG Health Centre.
- Develop budgets for centre services using inputs from internal and external stakeholders and market research to inform strategic planning, and establish appropriate tracking and reporting mechanisms.
- Take charge of assigned centre services and operational tasks, working with frontline staff to meet agreed targets.
- Coordinate with Product Managers and Engineers on system enhancements and maintenance for electronic medical records (NGEMR) and billing (NBS).
- Oversee administrative, reporting, budgeting, management approval, presentation, procurement, agreement and other related work within the NHG Health Centre department.
- Build trust, strengthen relationships and manage stakeholders to support the effective delivery of responsibilities.
- Build and maintain harmonious working relationships and effective teamwork among colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Provide secretariat support for Population Health Campus, Community Health, and department-related meetings and training sessions, including scheduling and coordination, preparation of meeting materials, minute-taking, circulation of agendas, reports and approved minutes, and follow-up on agreed action items.
- Oversee, supervise and appraise the performance of subordinates, where applicable, and support their development through the course of work.
- Lead and undertake other specific projects or tasks as assigned.
D. KEY REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications |

Recognised degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Life Sciences, Public Health or a related discipline. |

Experience |
: |
At least 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience. Practical knowledge and experience in healthcare, centre or clinic operations, and public healthcare systems such as NGEMR and NBS would be an added advantage. |
