Job Purpose

Support Allied Health Departments in managing and continuously improving operational processes, ensuring efficient workflows and the delivery of high‑quality care to patients.


Major Duties & Responsibilities


Operations - 40%

  • Support the effective running, monitoring, and continuous improvement of existing services.
  • Support department daily operations, including procurement of equipment and supplies, inventory management, invoice processing, and other administrative functions
  • Conduct data analysis and reporting for operational and financial indicators (e.g., waiting time, turnaround time, financial performance) for regular monitoring of operational and performance metrics
  • Implement initiatives to improve business processes, service workflows, and operational efficiency
  • Support quality service management efforts, including service quality review, complaints and feedback management
  • Support HODs in the supervision of Ancillary staff (e.g. PSAs)
  • Assist HODs in preparing annual workplans, manpower plans, and budgets


Planning and Development - 40%

  • Support the planning, design and development of new services and and operational initiatives.
  • Conduct planning, analysis, and review of business, service, and operational workflows/processes
  • Support the setup of new services, including writing proposals, assisting with procurement exercises, coordinating system integration, and managing operational rollout.
  • Assist in identifying, evaluating, and implementing innovative technologies
  • Coordinate and facilitate organisation-wide or cross-departmental initiatives across Allied Health departments


General 20%

  • Oversee and assist in daily operational, administrative and procurement duties.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare minutes, track follow‑up items, and support committee-related work.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior staff.
  • Perform any other duties / projects as assigned by reporting officer.
  • Support all corporate activities.

 

Job Requirements

 

Education / Training / Experience

  • University Degree in science or Business Administration, Business Management or related degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in healthcare or related industry
  • Experience in supporting operations
  • Some experience in business process and data analysis
