Key Responsibilities
Training Management
- Design and deliver training programmes for security personnel, conduct regular drills and emergency exercises, maintain training records and schedules, evaluate training effectiveness through performance metrics
- Ensure all training meets security industry standards and regulatory requirements, conduct compliance audits, update training materials to reflect current protocols, implement corrective measures when needed
- Liaise with People Development team for training needs, coordinate external training opportunities and align training schedules with operational requirements
Robotics & Innovation
- Support daily operations of security robots and AMRs
- Basic troubleshooting and operational supportLiaise with robotics vendors when there is a fault in the robots
- Participate in projects to expand and optimise the robotics fleet, enhancing safety and operational efficiency
- Basic troubleshooting and operational support for technology systems
Logistics
- Manage security team logistics including equipment inventory, resource allocation with requesters and administrative tasks
- Support security improvement projects, process enhancements, and productivity initiatives
Operational & Ground Support (as required)
- Conduct patrols to ensure safety and prevent incidents within hospital premises
- Respond to emergency calls, panic alerts, and incidents from the Security Control Room
- Assist with crowd control, visitor management, VIP escort duties, and hospital eventsProvide frontline assistance to patients, staff, and visitors with professionalism and empathy
- Attending to any other tasks assigned by superiors
Required Qualifications
Essential Requirements
- Minimum PLRD Grade of Security Supervisor
- Minimum 6 years in security operations with at least 3 years in supervisory/training role, proven experience conducting security drills and emergency exercises
Education & Technical Knowledge
- Comprehensive understanding of security protocols, industry standards, risk assessment methods, emergency response procedures, training programme development
- Strong Excel skills for reporting, tracking, and data management
- Keen interest in technology, systems, and roboticsTechnical background or basic experience in robotics operation or troubleshooting is an advantage
Skills & Experience
- Strong leadership and communication abilities, proficiency in training management, problem-solving capabilities, attention to detail, ability to work under pressureStrong administrative, coordination and communication skillsHealthcare environment experience is a plus
