Research Fellow

Research Fellow (Nursing Implementation, Translation & Research Office) 

What You'll Do

• Plan, manage and contribute to nursing research projects, including acting as principal investigator/co-investigator under Nursing Implementation, Translation & Research Office (NITRO) leadership
• Identify and apply for research funding, preparing proposals for relevant funding bodies
• Translate research findings into clinical practice by collaborating with clinical teams, Shared Governance Councils, and other stakeholders
• Disseminate research through publications, abstracts, reports, and conference presentations
• Support nursing staff in developing research capabilities, including mentoring, journal clubs, and training programmes
• Ensure compliance with Institutional Review Board, Health Sciences Authority, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) requirements
• Serve as a resource on literature critique, research methodology, evidence-based practice, and grant resources
• Contribute to hospital-wide quality improvement and accreditation efforts

What We're Looking For

• A degree in Health & Social Sciences (e.g Nursing, Psychology, etc)
• Minimum master’s degree in research Methodology, Epidemiology, or equivalent
• Completed training in research or an equivalent qualification
• Hands-on experience in conducting research and evidence-based projects, including participant recruitment and field data collection. Prior healthcare experience is an advantage
• Strong scientific writing skills with experience producing publications or research reports
• A collaborative team player who communicates well across multidisciplinary teams
