RESEARCH FELLOW
JOB SUMMARY
You will be working with researchers at the NCID Research Office supporting collaborative projects with emphasis on infectious diseases.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
SPECIFIC
- Work strategically with NCID researchers to formulate and answer important clinical and public health questions, with emphasis on infectious diseases.
- Support and lead manuscript preparation for submission to peer-reviewed journals, including thorough literature review, data analysis and manuscript drafting.
- Provide intellectual contributions to ongoing or upcoming research projects.
GENERAL
- Adhere to all general hospital and laboratory policies and other directives as issued.
- Comply with research ethics and patient confidentiality.
- Comply with all safety regulations and infection control policies/procedures stipulated by the laboratory/institute.
- Contribute to maintaining a collaborative working environment.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator/Team Lead.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
- PhD in Infectious Diseases, Epidemiology, Public Health or a related field.
- Postdoctoral experience in infectious disease research would be an advantage.
EXPERIENCE
- Working experience in Infectious Disease / Epidemiology / Public Health / Molecular Biology / Clinical Diagnostics / related work would be an advantage.
- Prior experience in publication of research findings would be an advantage.
