Job Description
Project Carer Matters 2 aims to establish a hospital-to-home framework to better support caregivers of older adults in the Central Health Region. A major thrust of this project is the digitalization of solutions to increase accessibility and utility to seniors and their caregivers. We are seeking a responsible and meticulous part-time Research Assistant to join our research team. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the team and plays a vital role in ensuring the integrity and quality of the study data.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Undertake mandatory training to gain access to patients' electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Maintain strict compliance with PDPA, data governance policies, and confidentiality requirements when handling patient information.
  • Perform accurate extraction of patient data based on approved study requirements and authorized data extraction protocols.
  • Ensure timely and proper documentation and filing related to fieldwork.
  • Assist in supporting research team in necessary administrative project duties.
  • Perform other relevant duties as directed by the Principal Investigator or Research Fellow.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to commit to at least 2 full working days (within office hours)
  • Responsible and organized, with the ability to monitor and follow up with patient data promptly.
  • Resourceful and able to troubleshoot minor issues

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Public Health, Nursing, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
  • Has relevant medical knowledge to understand patient’s medical records
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and maintain consistent follow-through
  • Proficiency in data entry, basic computer skills as well as the use of mobile application
  • Able to work during the period from October 2026 – January 2027
