Woodlands Hospital envisions personalised and quality healthcare for the community of the future. We co-develop and integrate services with community stakeholders and extend care beyond the hospital into the community and homes. At Woodlands Hospital, you will be part of a nurturing multidisciplinary team where you can consolidate your clinical skills, build a strong professional foundation, and grow towards becoming an advanced practitioner. We are committed to supporting your continuous professional development every step of the way.

As a Physiotherapist, you will be on a journey from novice, progressing towards an intermediate practitioner, consolidating experience and preparing for a higher level of functioning.

You will have a comprehensive and broad theoretical knowledge base within the professional field of practice, and an awareness of the boundaries of that knowledge. You will be competent in your areas of clinical practice with defined skills to exercise clinical judgements, and can be entrusted to work with a considerable degree of autonomy.

You will actively seek new knowledge and utilise evidence-based practice to enhance and underpin your practice, contribute to problem solving and service improvement.

Your clinical rotations may include Orthopaedics, Sports, Neurology/Neurosurgery, Cardiopulmonary, Chronic Disease Management, Geriatrics, and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, where you will develop and apply both general and area-specific competencies.

You may also take on responsibility to support supervision of staff or training, and may be assigned with some additional responsibilities or accountability to services or resource management for exposure and selected development in educator, researcher and/or leadership roles.
