(A) MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
CLINICAL DUTIES
1. Clinical Competencies and Duties
The locum Occupational Therapist has developed specific competencies in the management of patients in one of
these disciplines:
Community
Geriatrics
Hands
Neurology
Orthopedics
Palliative
Others
He/she demonstrates independent in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients, and seek guidance
proactively when required.
2. Administrative duties
The locum Occupational Therapist must have skills and competency in self management, and compliance to
medicolegal and governance guidelines
Be responsible for the caseload allocated and provide coverage as necessary
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical reports in continuity of care
Be familiar with and adhere to basic tenets of JCI
Maintain statistics on workload as needed by the Department and Hospital
OTHER DUTIES
1. Supervisory Role
Provide supervisory/training to staff as allocated by supervisor / manager
Provide mentoring / leadership guide to staff as allocated by supervisor / manager
