Medical Laboratory Technologist

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight in the day-to-day management of the Clinical and Satellite laboratories.
• Supervise, train and guide each laboratory staff deployed to the Clinical and Satellite laboratories.
• Lead the evaluation of any equipment or test methodology before it is used to perform any laboratory processes on patient’s specimens.
• Oversee the laboratory quality management system of the Clinical and Satellite laboratories, including the quality control measures, monitoring of performance of test processes, review performance of external quality assurance program, lead investigation and implement corrective actions where appropriate.
• Conduct competency assessment and ensure the competency of each laboratory staff deployed to perform tasks for the Clinical and Satellite laboratories.

Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Biomedical Sciences or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical laboratory experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Good attending skills, typing and computer skills. Possess a non judgmental attitude.
