What You Will Drive
You will provide support in financial planning and analysis, pricing and costing team in Woodlands Hospital. Major scope of work includes but not limited to costing & pricing of services, participation in system rollout/enhancements, projection and budgeting. You will provide essential technical expertise, guidance, and leadership support to the Team Lead in managing daily operational activities, supporting strategic initiatives and projects.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Specific
- Onboarding CoSy (Costing Systemisation) System and assisting on cost model relating to assigned areas
- Computation of doctors’ surcharges and working with HR and clinicians for monthly payment to doctors
- Finance desk-head user support (Business Partnering) for assigned departments on day-to-day costing/pricing/subsidies/charging-related queries
- Charge code creations/revisions including reviewing of costing and prices of new services and system maintenance
- Review NBS service requests raised to patch affected bills due to NBS incident tickets, retest of fixes for NBS incident tickets and rotation of RPA bill checks with the team
- NBS2.0 UAT testing
- Projection and Budgeting of Average Bill Size
- Assist in annual fee revision review, including preparation of yearly endorsed fee revision submission to MOH and collation/analysis of unendorsed fee revision
General
- Ad-hoc simulations/evaluations requested by MOH through group prior to policy changes
- Ad-hoc financial evaluations for new initiatives/services
- Support rolling out of new packages
Job Requirements
Education / Training / Experience
- Degree in Accountancy/Finance/Statistics/Business Analytics
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in healthcare industry with financial planning & analysis or management accounting is an added advantage
