(A) SPECIFIC
1. Clinical Duties
The locum Occupational Therapist has developed specific competencies in the management of patients 
in one of these disciplines: Orthopedics 
• Community
• Geriatrics 
• Hands
• Neurology
• Orthopedics
• Palliative
• Others
He/she should be independent in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of patient, and seek 
guidance proactively when appropriate.
2. Administrative Duties
The locum occupational therapist must have skills and competency in self management, and 
compliance to medicolegal and governance guidelines 
• Be responsible for the caseload allocated and provide coverage as necessary 
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical reports in continuity of care 
• Be familiar with and adhere to basic tenets of JCI 
• Maintain statistics on workload as needed by the Department and Hospital 

(B) GENERAL
1. Supervisory Role
• Provide supervisory/training to staff as allocated by supervisor / manager 
• Provide mentoring / leadership guide to staff as allocated by supervisor / manager
