Are you passionate about harnessing data and AI to transform healthcare? We are looking for a strategic and visionary leader to spearhead the Data Intelligence & Artificial Intelligence pillar within our Division of Informatics and Data.

In this key leadership role, you will shape the organisation's data, analytics and AI strategy, driving innovation and enabling data-driven decision-making across clinical, operational and corporate domains. You will work closely with senior leaders, clinicians and stakeholders to unlock the value of data, advance AI adoption, and improve healthcare outcomes across Tan Tock Seng Hospital and NHG Health.

What Will You Lead?

As Deputy Director, Data Intelligence & AI, you will:

• Provide direction and oversight of information management, data management, data analytics, reporting, AI solution development and implementation, and research to support healthcare management, financial and operational continual improvement, development, innovation, and strategies.
• Lead data navigation, data management, and data science teams in planning, development, and implementation of appropriate solutions that ensure quality assurance and improvements in care delivery and alignment with Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH)‘s and NHG Health’s vision, mission, and objectives.
• Provide senior management with data-driven insights that inform TTSH‘s and NHG Health’s strategic directions and decision-making, as well as the attainment of key performance indicators required by the Ministry of Health.
• Direct the development and execution of AI, analytical and research activities to provide TTSH’s and NHG Health’s management with information and tools for strategic decision making and planning, resource optimization, cost-effective care, and clinical outcomes improvement.
• Work in collaboration with Heads of Departments, Clinical Leads, Chairs of TTSH and NHG Health Committees and Workgroups, and other stakeholders in making strategic and data-driven decisions to meet project deliverables.
• Influence data management, analytic, and AI capabilities, and operationalize the application of data, analytics, AI solution and information to deliver optimal performance, whilst ensuring data security and compliance with TTSH’s data governance policy.
• Drive the development of mechanisms and platforms for the provision of anonymized and unidentifiable data to support the use of big data and development of artificial intelligence tool to optimise healthcare delivery in TTSH and NHG Health.

What Will You Bring?

• Master's degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Analytics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in data, analytics, AI or digital transformation, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
• Proven track record in developing and executing enterprise data and analytics strategies.
• Experience leading and growing high-performing teams comprising data scientists, analysts, engineers and data professionals.
• Strong experience in data management, governance, analytics and AI implementation.
• Demonstrated success in influencing senior stakeholders and driving organisation-wide transformation initiatives.
• Healthcare industry experience will be highly advantageous.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and influence senior leaders, clinicians and partners.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business recommendations.
• Collaborative, resilient and outcome-oriented leader with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
