Co-Ordinator
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interacting with and interviewing patients
- administering screening tools for mood, anxiety, sleep, cognition, behavior, function, quality of life and social isolation, and others as applicable
- assessing and following up patients’ progress after discharge from hospital and clinic
- interacting with other medical staff to ensure quality care for patients
- interacting with other clinical care partners to ensure transition of care of patients
- to provide basic psychological support and illness psychoeducation to patients and caregivers where applicable
- to assist in education and outreach to community care partners
- to maintain a clinical database of all data collected
- to assist in any research projects initiated by Department of Psychological Medicine
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Psychology or related healthcare fields
- Previous work experience (minimum 1 year) in clinical research related fields will be a bonus
- Basic abilities on using the computer
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications especially Word, Excel (bonus if proficient in Access and Publisher)
- Proficient in research skills
- Proficient in SPSS or other research-related software/programs
- Familiar with the use of email applications
- Good interpersonal and communication skills and able to communicate fluently in at least 2 languages including English
- Able to work with the elderly and their caregivers
- Fluency in chinese dialects will be a bonus to communicate with eldery patient poplulation
