Asst Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and driven Assistant Manager to support the planning, implementation and evaluation of staff well-being initiatives across the Institute of Mental Health. This role contributes to the development of a healthy, engaged and resilient workforce by coordinating staff well-being programmes, engagement activities and communications that support organisational priorities.
The incumbent will work closely with NHG Group Office, other NHG institutions, external partners and internal stakeholders to deliver impactful well-being initiatives, manage programme administration and drive participation through effective communications and engagement strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development, implementation and review of staff well-being strategies, programmes and initiatives, including collaboration with NHG Group Office, other NHG institutions and external partners where applicable;
- Plan and coordinate annual staff engagement events, including Staff Celebration and other internal engagement platforms and activities;
- Manage the administration of staff well-being programmes, including budgeting, procurement, vendor management, claims processing and programme logistics;
- Develop and manage publicity, communication and engagement materials across multiple channels to promote staff well-being initiatives and encourage participation;
- Undertake other duties and projects assigned to support Human Resource objectives and organisational priorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications or a related discipline;
- At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in human resources, employee engagement, programme management, events management or related fields;
- Good project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines effectively;
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with experience in developing communication and engagement materials;
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to monitor programme outcomes and recommend improvements;
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel;
- Prior experience in healthcare or the public sector will be an advantage but not compulsory.
