We are seeking an Asst Director to oversee financial operations in the Financial Accounting/Planning team. The incumbent will be responsible for cost management, project evaluations, revenue optimisation, and pricing strategies to ensure financial sustainability and operational efficiency across hospital services.
Cost Management
- Monitor and identify cost improvement opportunities
- Review cost data with Department Heads to enhance performance
- Analyse profitability by discipline and DRGs
New Project and Capital Evaluations
- Develop financial planning checklists and project control measures
- Monitor cash management and provide investment recommendations
- Maintain internal controls for capital acquisition processes
Revenue and Subvention Management
- Analyse revenue trends and ensure accurate income booking
- Manage timely subvention funding submissions
- Maintain integrity of revenue and subvention systems
Pricing and Costing of Hospital Services
- Monitor average bill size trends and pricing policies
- Submit fee revision recommendations when required
- Maintain costing information systems and evaluate price elasticity
