Join our dynamic team at NHG's Centre for Healthcare Innovation (CHI), where you will play a pivotal role in supporting system level change and workforce transformation, as well as the development of people to respond with agility to lead change and transformation in our healthcare ecosystem for now and the future. OD at CHI focuses efforts on creating impact at the systems level and driving outcomes towards achieving population health, healthcare sustainability and value healthcare with these communities and ecosystems. As the Deputy Director / Senior Specialist, you will lead strategic transformation initiatives and facilitate projects in partnership with healthcare professional groups, CHI Academies to (i) enable system change for Healthcare, Population Health and Sustainability; (ii) propagate agency of healthcare professionals to redesign their work and upskill, and (iii) build orgainisational health for CHI and our NHG Health Institutions.
Responsibilities
Organisational Diagnosis
- Conduct organisational assessments to identify themes, performance gaps, structural considerations, and areas for improvement.
- Analyse qualitative and quantitative data, including stakeholder feedback and engagement inputs, to generate insights and support decision-making.
- Translate findings into practical, actionable recommendations that activate change, enhance organisational effectiveness, team performance, and ways of working.
System-Level Change & Transformation
- Support the planning and delivery of change initiatives by developing structured approaches to leadership alignment, stakeholder engagement, communications, capability building, and adoption, in enabling a learning health system.
- Partner with leaders and healthcare professional groups to maintain momentum on workforce transformation and other CHI strategic priorities.
Workforce Transformation
- Support workforce transformation initiatives that emphasises on propagating agency among healthcare professionals to drive transformation through work redesign and acquiring the necessary skillsets and toolsets.
- Contribute to the design and execution of interventions that strengthen organisational health, employee connection, and change readiness via the fledging CHI Workforce Accelerator.
- Help coordinate and deliver initiatives that require thoughtful stakeholder management and consistent follow-through.
Stakeholder Partnership & Execution
- Work closely with NHG Health and CHI leaders, other stakeholders in healthcare, and workforce partners to identify future care models, drive change initiatives and build system-level capacity and capability to enable change.
- Manage multiple workstreams concurrently, balancing responsiveness with strong attention to quality and detail.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource, Organisational Development, Sociology, Psychology, Business Administration or related fields.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in the field of organisation development, employee engagement, or learning & development.
- Engage across all levels of the system, supporting leadership and ground in the design and execution of organisational development interventions
- Adept at designing and conducting interventions at different levels of the system, from small group conversations to large-group sessions
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and senior/executive leadership teams
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced setting, handling ambiguity, and ramping up quickly in a time-bound role.
