Job Description:

You will provide a range of psychological services for both inpatients and/or outpatients within the psychiatric services as a member of a multi-disciplinary team of mental health professionals.

 

Job Responsibilities:

For the position of Associate Psychologist in the Department of Psychology, you will be primarily based in the adult inpatient rehabilitation and child acute wards, and will be expected to:

  1. Provide psychological services including individual therapy and group programmes for inpatient adults and children and adolescents
  2. Provide psychotherapy review services
  3. Contribute to research activities within the department
  4. Provide operational administrative duties

 

Requirements:

Competency

  1. Computer literate – basic skills in Microsoft Office
  2. Good communication and interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
  3. Interest in clinical psychology and related community services work in Singapore

 

Educational and Professional Requirements

  1.  A Bachelor's degree with Honours (2nd Upper and above) in Psychology
  2. Experience in facilitating groups
