Assistant Manager (Engagement)

Job Purpose

 

The Assistant Manager is responsible to lead and execute our comprehensive engagement workplan for healthcare IT transformation. This role is critical in driving stakeholder engagement, managing large-scale clinical informatics events, instituting cluster-wide Change Management framework and strategies across the NHG cluster. The successful candidate will balance operational excellence, growth initiatives and transformational projects while fostering collaboration across institutions, interest groups, and external partners.

 

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Areas of Responsibility

 

  1. Change Management
  • Support development and emplacement of Change Management function within NHG enterprise, including NHG-specific methodologies and frameworks
  • Collaborate with NHG-internal parties to localize and execute cluster-wide change management strategies
  • Facilitate change management for inbound Epic modules (Beaker, Radiant) implementation and other projects; including, (but not limited to) Artificial Intelligence projects
  • Design and deliver suite of interventions to minimize impact to end-users and drive adoption rates
  • Enable institution OCIs toward increased change management knowledge and capability
  • Facilitate change management workshops and Communities of Practice
  • Develop, execute and monitor adoption metrics and user feedback to refine change strategies

 

  1. Strategic & Knowledge-Sharing Event Management
  • Design, plan, and execute large-scale clinical informatics events including Singapore Clinical Informatics Summit (SCIS), Singapore Health & Biomedical Congress (SHBC) or other NHG conference / events
  • Develop event themes, content, and marketing materials. Manage and execute event logistics, speaker coordination, programme delivery and protocol
  • Oversee attendee engagement, post-event evaluation, budget management and vendor relationships, etc.
  • Prioritize and execute additional engagements as directed by GCDHO/GCCIO, eg. coordinate participation in HIMSS APAC conferences and similar industry events
  • Plan and facilitate AI (or other) workshops, innovation sessions, and assessment activities as needed

 

  1. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaborations
  • Drive "Verticals" engagement: GHI and Institution OCI meetings, intervention sessions for alignment and optimization
  • Facilitate "Horizontals" engagement: clinical interest groups, family groups, communities
  • Manage external collaborations with partners such as NUS-ISS, SAF, and other organizations
  • Support GDH engagement and communication as needed

   

     4. Public Healthcare IT Transformation Integration

  • Support communication plan for Public Healthcare IT Transformation initiatives
  • Facilitate alignment and engagement strategies across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Provide targeted support to Business Owners in ICT understanding and adoption
  • Monitor transformation progress and adjust engagement strategies accordingly

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

Education/Training/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Communication, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in Change Management, Communication, Stakeholder Engagement, or Project Management
  • Demonstrated experience in change management, preferably in healthcare or clinical systems implementation
  • Background in healthcare informatics, clinical operations, or digital transformation initiatives not necessary, but preferred

 

Personal Attributes/Competencies

  • Strong understanding of healthcare IT systems, particularly Epic EMR and clinical informatics
  • Familiarity with change management frameworks
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Experience with event management platforms and collaboration tools
