DSC Clinic (31 Kelantan Lane), our outpatient clinic for the diagnosis, treatment and control of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) in Singapore

 

Job Purpose

You will be part of the Department of STI Control (DSC), supporting the Head of DSC to drive and improve the National STI Programme (NSTIP), various IT systems and clinical operations.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Generate, compile, and analyse DSC and national STI statistics and trends for internal and external reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement of analytics processes and reporting capabilities, maintaining clear documentation of metric definitions and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with public sector institutions and partners on public health initiatives, contributing data, insights, and presentations as required.
  • Own and manage requirements for DSC's IT systems, reports, and National STI statistics database, ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs, security, and data governance standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for IT and data requirements across DSC teams, coordinating prioritisation, UAT, and change management, as well as handling data requests from public sector institutions and partners.
  • Partner with DSC teams to deliver actionable insights and develop data-driven solutions such as automations and standardised templates to streamline workflows and improve outcomes.
  • Upon completion of the EPIC course (if required), contribute to the NHG Health cluster as an Institution Report Builder for cluster-wide project

 

Job Requirement  

  • Degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Health Communications Business or any other related discipline.
  • Strong foundation in statistics, data analysis, programming, and database management
  • Proficient in advanced Excel formulas and features including Dynamic Array Formulas, Office Scripts, and VBA.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, EPIC or other health systems with EPIC certification (Cogito, Caboodle, or Clarity) will be adavantageous
  • An effective team player who is able to work independently and multi-task and demonstrates a willingness to learn and prototype with new techniques and tools
